Dwight Deugo is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at Carleton University. He is also a columnist for Application Development Trends. Dwight was previously the Director of Java Services at The Object People, Editor in Chief for Java Report, and a columnist for the Smalltalk Report. He has been involved with all forms of object technology for more than 17 years as a consultant, project mentor and educator. Dwight also holds M.C.S and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science.

Neša Matić has over 14 years of experience in various fields of Information Technology. He has 7 years of experience in Web based development using J2EE technologies, and 11 years of overall experience in Object Oriented Technology using Smalltalk and Java, working as an architect, designer, project manager, technical team lead, mentor, consultant, application developer, course developer and course instructor. In the last 11 years, Neša spent 6 years with The Object People and 2.5 years with BEA Systems.

Dave Thomas has over 30 years of Information Technology experience. He has held academic positions at Carleton University in Engineering and the Schools of Business and Computer Science. Dave is the founder, past CEO and President of Object Technology International Inc (OTI). He is widely published in the software engineering literature and has served on the OOPSLA and ECOOP conferences program committees for the past 12 years. In recognition of his pioneering work in object technology, he was elected to the IBM Academy. Dave is also founder of Bedarra Corporation and currently serves as advisor and mentor to a number of other companies.
