October 2004: In partnersheep with XIA Systems, Espirity is awarded standing offer with Royal Canadian Mounted Police for training in object-oriented, Java and J2EE related technologies. September 2004: Dr. Dwight Deugo, Espirity's CEO, is the program chair for EclipseCon 2005, which will be held in August 2004: In February 2005, Dr. Dwight Deugo, Espirity's CEO, will give a tutorial on Eclipse at the Enterprise Linux Summit, organized by OSDL. Mr. Davidovic, the team lead with Social Development Canada says: "Espirity's Immersion program has helped our team to quickly adopt Object-Oriented methodology, Java and J2EE technologies. The program Espirty designed was tailored for our development environment and our problem domain. In 3 weeks we have learned how to describe requirements through use-cases, how to design object-oriented systems, how to develop and deploy J2EE applications using Eclipse, Java, STRUTS and OC4J, and how to deal with some real issues such as objects to relational database persistence." May 2004: The Eclipse Plugin course has had almost 100,000 views/downloads. March 2004: The popularity of Espirity's Two-Day Eclipse Plugin course continues to grow. The course, which is now freely available on video (click here for a video at ECESIS web site), has had almost 50,000 views / downloads - quarter terabyte of data served.
